The Sales Executive is responsible for managing and expanding business within the HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, and Catering) across UAE. This role is critical in driving profitable sales growth, building long-term client relationships, managing customer performance, and delivering excellent service and support to key accounts. The executive will act as the primary point of contact for strategic customers and ensure seamless execution of orders, demand planning, and account retention.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Account Management:
Act as the primary liaison for assigned key HORECA clients, ensuring personalized service and consistent support.
Build strategic partnerships with high-potential customers to develop long-term, profitable relationships.
Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to assess performance, align objectives, and explore growth opportunities.
Maintain accurate customer profiles, purchase history, contract terms, and communication records in CRM systems.
Monitor and manage service level agreements (SLAs), customer complaints, and quality feedback to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (supply chain, quality, finance) to ensure smooth execution of orders and customer requirements.
2. Sales Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans for HORECA accounts in line with company targets and objectives.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the HORECA channel, especially with mid-to-sized hotels, restaurant chains, catering companies, and institutional buyers.
Prepare and present customized proposals, quotations, and product offerings tailored to each client's needs.
Conduct regular market visits to develop relationships, understand demand patterns, and reinforce brand presence.
Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.
Plan and execute seasonal campaigns, promotions, or offers for key clients.
3. Product and Category Knowledge:
Maintain deep knowledge of the company's fruits and vegetables portfolio including seasonality, specifications, shelf life, pricing structure, and logistics lead times.
Advise clients on the best mix of products based on menu requirements, pricing strategies, and consumption trends.
Ensure clients are informed about new arrivals, product launches, or discontinued items promptly.
4. Forecasting and Inventory Coordination:
Work closely with demand planning and procurement teams to provide accurate sales forecasts for key accounts.
Monitor client ordering patterns and align with supply availability to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely, complete, and accurate deliveries.
5. Pricing and Commercial Negotiation:
Negotiate prices, payment terms, contract renewals, and volume commitments within the framework of company policy.
Monitor account profitability and recommend adjustments or optimizations to pricing, product mix, or delivery models.
Resolve disputes related to pricing, invoicing, or credit notes in collaboration with the finance department.
6. Market Intelligence and Reporting:
Gather market intelligence related to customer behavior, competitor activities, pricing benchmarks, and emerging trends.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports, market feedback summaries, and pipeline updates.
Recommend sales strategies or business development ideas based on data-driven insights.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales & Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 2-4 years of
proven experience in B2B sales or key account management
in the
HORECA sector within UAE
.
Knowledge of regional HORECA dynamics, procurement practices, and seasonal buying cycles.
Valid UAE driving license
and willingness to travel frequently across UAE.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED11,000.00 per month
