Extensive conference and banqueting facilities are available, including the Badriah ballroom. About the Job:

Your main duties will include: Attends daily briefings to discuss sales activity and provide feedback on market conditions. Maintains and develops business of Accommodation, Food & Beverage, Banqueting and Convention related to the local corporate markets. Liaises closely with all departments within the hotel particularly with Front Office, Food & Beverage and Banqueting to ensure that any potential sales leads are followed up on with immediate effect. Liaises closely with the key account Sales Managers for any feedback from key accounts that require following up. Submits all sales leads obtained to the Director of Sales & Marketing so that value can be ascertained and directive action can be taken. Achieves monthly sales objectives and production related targets. Keeps clients data up-to-date using Opera, Delphi, Customer Relationship Management - Sales & Catering System. Keeps track of room night and revenue production levels of all assigned client accounts. Ensures that the necessary reports are produced on a weekly and monthly basis supporting the production of the monthly sales report. Ensures that the necessary forms are filled out and signed off and all arrangements have been made before site inspections and entertaining clients at the hotel. Coordinates and handles all group requirements and activities once the group contract has been established. Keep track of all group blocks which have been entered into the system, follow up on rooming lists, and load rooming list in a timely manner. Ensures that credit and billing instructions are clearly mentioned and supported. Builds and maintains group files for arriving groups and ensures correct information is received for group profiles. Meets and escorts arriving and departing groups. For larger / more complex groups, participate in the BEO meetings and / or the Group pre-arrival meeting. Coordinates all events as delegated to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Coordinates guests' treatment and VIPs with Guest Relations. Responsible for processing visas for hotel guests when required. Ensures that all department heads are informed of significant information, which will affect the Hotel operations. Prepares weekly and monthly group forecasts to ensure other departments are advised in advance and can plan accordingly. Conducting sales calls with proactive team to be introduced to the bookers and main persons for groups. Any other duties that may be reasonably requested by the management. About you:

In order to be considered for this role you will have a minimum of 2 years sales experience in a 5 star hotel or similar environment, a college certificate or degree, and good knowledge of OPERA front office application and as well as MS Office applications.

You must have an outgoing personality with ability to communicate with guests and colleagues, excellent English and Arabic communication skills.
