Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Sales Engineer
with a strong background inbuilding, construction, and steel materials trading
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, developing new business opportunities, and providing technical support to clients. This role combines sales expertise with technical knowledge of steel and construction materials to deliver tailored solutions to customers.Promote and sell steel materials including but not limited to structural steel, pipes, and fittings. Build strong relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and procurement teams. Conduct client visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations. Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals in line with customer requirements. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales deals effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Industrial preferred) or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in sales within the building materials, construction, or steel trading industry. Solid knowledge of steel products, specifications, and applications in the construction industry. Strong technical and commercial acumen. Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing client accounts. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
