Job Details What you will do The Sales Director is a key role reporting directly to the General Manager of GCC. You will be based in Dubai and part of our team for Building Technologies and Solutions business unit leading the HVAC Solutions. You will lead the strategy, product alignment, new product introduction and lead the branches across GCC region. Key responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. Regional director duties will include coaching and developing teams across all the branches, achieving annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends. The responsibility also extends to creating strong sales discipline by supporting sales managers to conduct reviews with sales engineers as a regular cadence using the company’s CRM. How you will do it As a Regional Director, you will use your strategic approach to and drive the growth through market segmentation, manage the key accounts, build relationship with Developers, Contractors, ESCO companies and end users in line with the sales strategy and represent the company at top level and manage business opportunities of the HVAC retrofit projects as well as new construction projects. You will be responsible to engage early with clients, and manage communications and solution expectations. You will be closely managing the sales team and support them to convert the sales enquiries into business. You’ll be reasonably technically adept supporting our customers with technical enquiries and visit end users, and consultants to position JCI as a preferred partner of choice. You will be responsible for clearly articulating and communicating JCI offerings to the customers, provide feedback to the business. You will strategize sales approach and define stakeholder mapping to improve JCI competitiveness in the market. The role also needs to support sales cadence between sales managers and front line sales engineers and establishes a strong platform where performance of each sales engineers is monitored and managed You are a driven to seek and develop strong client relationships, self-motivated to drive growth. You’re naturally perseverant, tenacious and consistent in your approach to work, managing multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent planning, organization and time management skills. What we look for Required
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical or similar field
Minimum 8 years of experience in leading a business in the GCC market, of which 5 years in a senior role with team leading capabilities
Proven track record of achieving the targets business
Proficiency in generating new business using existing and potential customer networks
Experience and strong skills for building sales strategies to keep company competitive and innovative
Experienced in identifying valuable emerging markets
Experience in accurately forecasting future sales and forming sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace
Recent or Past experience in serving as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions
Strong skills to Maximize company profit
Ability of Foreseeing and avoiding stagnation in the marketplace
Seeking out major clients and forming working relationships with the premier buyers in the industry.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Strong Presentation skills
A professional with the highest business acumen, who has the charisma and can gain credibility with executive management, peers, and customers
Determined, results driven, strong sales drive
Experience communicating effectively across multiple cultures
Fluent language skills in English
Valid UAE driving license
