Key Responsibilities
Greet customers professionally and understand their eyewear and optical needs.
Assist customers in selecting sunglasses, optical frames, and lenses based on style, comfort, and prescription requirements.
Provide accurate product information, including brands, lens types, coatings, and pricing.
Achieve individual and store sales targets.
Handle billing, cash, card payments, and POS system operations.
Manage after-sales service, including basic customer follow-ups and issue resolution.
Ensure proper display, cleanliness, and organization of products in the showroom.
Support inventory checking, stock arrangement, and reporting any low-stock items.
Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Requirements
Arabic speaker (mandatory)
; English communication is an advantage.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience
in an
optical shop / eyewear retail / sunglasses store
.
Strong sales skills with a customer-focused approach.
Basic knowledge of optical products (frames, lenses, sunglasses) is required.
Experience using POS systems is preferred.
Presentable, professional, and confident in dealing with customers.
Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in branded eyewear or optical retail chains.
Knowledge of lens types, prescriptions, and basic optical terminology.
Target-driven mindset with upselling and cross-selling abilities.
