A Sales Assistant plays a key role in providing outstanding service, supporting daily store operations, and maximizing sales. This customer-facing role is perfect for individuals with strong interpersonal skills and a love for fashion retail.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Greet customers warmly and ensure a welcoming in-store experience
- Understand customer needs and guide them to suitable products
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor
- Assist customers in fitting rooms and ensure excellent service throughout
- Operate the cash register efficiently and promote gift cards or special offers
- Keep up with product knowledge to provide accurate information

What Skills Are Needed for a Sales Assistant in Dubai?
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail sales, preferably fashion or lifestyle
Core Skills:
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening
- Energetic, friendly, and customer-centric approach
- Ability to stand for extended hours and handle physical tasks
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic administrative tasks
- A strong sense of style and attention to visual presentation
