Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries.
Provide product knowledge, features, and recommendations.
Handle customer complaints or issues and escalate when necessary.
Guide customers to specific product sections within the hypermarket.
Sales & Merchandising
Arrange shelves, racks, and displays according to planograms.
Replenish stock regularly to ensure full availability of items.
Ensure products are properly priced and labelled.
Promote ongoing offers, discounts, and special promotions.
Inventory & Stock Control
Assist in receiving, checking, and stocking merchandise.
Conduct daily or weekly stock counts as required.
Report stock shortages, damages, or expired items to the supervisor.
Store Maintenance
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned section.
Ensure all products are stored safely and neatly.
Follow safety, hygiene, and anti-theft procedures.
Billing & Support
Assist at the checkout counter during peak hours when required.
Pack customer purchases neatly and ensure proper handling of goods.
3. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous retail or hypermarket experience preferred.
Knowledge of basic sales techniques and customer handling.
4. Skills Required
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Basic math and computer skills.
Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and handling merchandise.
