to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across our workplace and project sites. The Safety Officer will play a key role in promoting a safe working culture and minimizing risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and company safety standards.
Organize and conduct safety training and toolbox talks for employees.
Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses.
Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
Support management in fostering a strong safety culture.
Qualifications & Requirements:
IOSH Managing Safely Certificate (mandatory).
Additional safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) will be an advantage.
Proven 2 to 3 years work experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar HSE role.
Good knowledge of risk management and safety regulations.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills:
Risk assessment and hazard control.
Safety training and awareness.
Incident/accident investigation.
Knowledge of local HSE laws and best practices.
