We are seeking a dedicated and experienced

HSE Officer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the safety and well-being of employees, contractors, and visitors by implementing, monitoring, and enforcing health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations by local and international standards.

Job Requirements:

Must require an Attested Degree Certificate to obtain Visa - Attested both in the Home Country UAE Embassy & MOFA, UAE. Must have

NEBOSH Certification

approved by the Dubai Government. Extensive knowledge of Safety Skills and Experienced in Landscaping Projects or Infrastructure Projects. Monitoring the project HSE Programme and participate in the project HSE audit and inspection Participate in site HSE training activities, conduct incident investigation and reporting. Monitor HSE-related issues at the projects regarding our Company's Clients.

Required Qualification:

Dubai Approved HSE Engineer / Safety Officer Certification.

SARS Card Holder (preferable)

Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field, preferably in

Civil Engineer

NEBOSH & IOSH Managing Certificates is required. Minimum of

2 years

of experience in HSE roles in Dubai. Strong knowledge of local and international safety regulations and standards. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good Communication skills (English).

Full job description

1. Make sure all workers at site have done safety induction and required training.

2. Ensure and monitor the safety requirements are met at construction sites as per the approved HSE plan.

3. Coordinate with the construction team to maintain a safe work environment and ensure resources are available.

4. Maintain safety observation and incident reporting system and communicate with safety management.

5. Ensuring the work permit system and safe work plan before starting the work.

6. Daily inspection for construction activities and heavy equipment. 7 Monitoring of site preparations, barricading, and PPE.

7. Supporting and monitoring inspection for tools and equipment, heavy equipment, cranes.

8. To assist safety supervisors during the Safety campaign for heat stress/cold stress and adverse weather conditions

9. Participate for Safety audit and walk-through.

10. Site traffic control measures monitoring inside the fenced area..

11. Scaffold safety requirements and ensuring certified and competent scaffold team for the erection, modification, and dismantling.

12. Prepare all the Daily, Weekly, Monthly reports.

13. Maintain all Safety documentation records.

14. Require all NEBOSH & IOSH qualifications and certificates, SARS-approved safety officer (preferable)

15. Assistance with on-site tasks to ensure both quality and efficiency.

16. Update the activities on the WhatsApp group on daily basis.

17. Assume accountability when the site supervisor is not present.

NOTE: Salary will be discussed upon the interview depending on the candidate experience.
