Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor company HSE policies and procedures
Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions
Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company safety standards
Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports
Monitor use of PPE and safe work practices on site
Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation
Coordinate with project/site managers to resolve safety issues
Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement
Requirements & Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Safety, Engineering, or a related field
NEBOSH IGC / IOSH / OSHA certification (mandatory or preferred)
Minimum [X] years of experience as a Safety Officer
Good knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices
Strong observation, communication, and reporting skills
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Knowledge of MS Office and safety reporting tools
Preferred Skills
Experience in [Construction / Industrial / Oil & Gas] environments
Knowledge of local labor and safety regulations
Strong leadership and safety awareness mindset
