Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and standards on-site.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions promptly.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend preventive measures.
Organize and conduct toolbox talks, safety drills, and training programs for site personnel.
Maintain safety documentation including permits, inspection reports, and training records.
Ensure use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) by all workers and visitors.
Liaise with government agencies, clients, and contractors on safety-related matters.
Promote a strong safety culture through awareness campaigns and proactive engagement.
Participate in emergency response planning and implementation.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety,
Minimum [2-5] years of experience in a similar role within the civil construction industry.
Strong knowledge of local safety laws, codes, and regulations.
Proficiency in incident investigation and report writing.
Good communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
