Classic Technical Architect Contracting LLC is a trusted and experienced civil construction company in the UAE. We specialize in delivering high-quality infrastructure, residential, and commercial projects with a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance. We are currently seeking qualified and proactive Safety Officers to join our projects in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify risks and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to approved Method Statements and Risk Assessments (RAMS). Develop, implement, and update HSE Plans, Emergency Response Plans, and Evacuation Procedures. Deliver Toolbox Talks, Site Safety Inductions, and ongoing safety training to all workers and subcontractors. Enforce use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and monitor compliance at all times. Investigate and report accidents, near misses, and unsafe practices; implement corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Consultants to maintain safety standards during all work phases. Conduct audits of high-risk activities including scaffolding, working at heights, hot work, confined spaces, and lifting operations. Ensure proper barricading, signage, and access control are in place in hazardous areas. Supervise issuance and control of Work Permits, especially for high-risk tasks. Maintain comprehensive records of safety inspections, daily reports, incident logs, and training attendance. Participate in internal and external HSE audits, liaise with government authorities (Dubai Municipality, RAK Municipality, OSHAD) as required. Monitor environmental controls (e.g., dust suppression, waste disposal, noise control) in compliance with regulations. Promote a strong safety culture through continuous engagement and behavior-based safety observations. Ensure that safety signage, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and emergency exits are always operational and compliant.
Requirements

Minimum 7 years of experience as a Safety Officer in civil construction in the UAE or GCC. Must have valid certifications: NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent. Good knowledge of Dubai Municipality, RAK Municipality, and OSHAD safety regulations. Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage). Proficient in writing reports, safety documentation, and conducting training sessions. UAE Driving License preferred. Must be currently in the UAE and available for immediate joining.
