We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive

Safety Engineer cum Manager

to join our

Planning Department

. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in health, safety, and environment (HSE) management within consultancy or construction sectors. This role requires a professional who can ensure safety compliance, lead safety planning for various projects, and integrate HSE measures into the planning process effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement HSE plans, procedures, and policies in line with project requirements and industry standards. Integrate safety management protocols within the project planning framework Conduct safety risk assessments and ensure mitigation measures are embedded in project schedules. Monitor project safety performance and ensure compliance with legal, client, and company standards. Lead safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations, and prepare detailed reports. Liaise with project planners, engineers, and contractors to ensure coordinated safety efforts across all phases of planning and execution. Conduct training and awareness programs to promote a culture of safety within the team. Provide regular updates and safety reports to senior management and clients.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.

Minimum 10 years

of relevant experience in HSE, with a focus on project planning and management specially in high-rise buildings. Professional HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) are highly desirable. Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills. Experience working within a consultancy or multidisciplinary project environment. Must be
