Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance on rotating equipment according to approved schedules and checklists.
• Carry out corrective maintenance by dismantling, inspecting, repairing, and replacing defective mechanical components.
• Conduct start-up testing and performance monitoring, reporting deviations beyond acceptable operating limits.
• Assist in installation, modification, and commissioning of mechanical systems and plant machinery.
• Support plant shutdowns, annual turnarounds, and major equipment overhauls.
• Coordinate removal and repair of major assemblies in workshops, ensuring proper reassembly and functionality.
• Maintain compliance with company HSE policies, international standards, and ADNOC Code of Practices.
• Provide on-the-job training to support competency development and UAE Nationalization programs.
• Maintain tools, safety equipment, and work areas in clean and operational condition.
• Prepare technical field data, contribute to progress reports, and assist in method statement preparation.
• Participate in emergency response duties and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal Profile

• Diploma or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of rotating machinery within oil, gas, petrochemical, or power plant environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, preventive maintenance techniques, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and maintenance documentation.
• Good understanding of HSE standards and safe work practices.
• Computer literate with basic reporting skills.
• Good communication skills in English.
