Job Description

To supervise and control the installation, maintenance, repair and testing of a wide range of rotating equipment in a safe manner following procedures and accepted technical standards. Plans & carry out the routine and preventive maintenance Coordinate both human and materials resources to ensure work requests are completed as per assigned priority. Receives and reviews incoming work requests for repairs to the equipment. Processes the work requests after filling in the required materials, man-hours, and skill levels. Allocates work to subordinates and contractors, checks progress providing instructions and, advice as necessary, and ensures that all the completed work conforms to established work standards and statutory requirements. Provides advice related to the planning and commissioning of new projects, which includes liaising with inter-discipline engineers within the department, with vendors, consultants, and contractors. He reviews drawings, evaluates systems, drafts scope of work for Plant changes, snags completed projects and generates all relevant work reports. Participates in, and personally carries out the complex installation repair and maintenance of all the rotating equipment systems. To provide work directions to his subordinates and contract staff and ensure that all activity conforms to policies and procedures. Supervise installation, repairs, and maintenance of water distribution pipe works, valves of all types of potable water, chilled water, wastewater, and drainage systems. Supervise repairs of all flush valves, mixers, sanitary fittings, and fixtures. Supervise insulation to hot and chilled water lines & Erection of scaffolding and ladders for high areas access and ensure the proper use of tools and test equipment. He carries out function tests on the repairs carried out before reinstating the systems. Preferably having 6-8 Years of experience in a supervisory role with a variety of organizations, including health care facilities, educational institutions, government agencies, and businesses. Excellent interpersonal skills, adapt the style of communication to meet the needs Computer literate in Excellent-versed windows, MS word and Excel. Available in Doha for face to face interview Should be on a transferable visa with NOC
