About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Rooms Administrator to join The Emirates Academy of Hospitality management Lodging. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are.

Registers guests staying at EAHM Lodging, Students and Jumeirah Cross Charges; manage their check in and out.

Deals with all internal and external customers according to the Jumeirah Hallmarks and Guiding Principles

To carry out cashiering duties for lodging guests and resident students

To setup the amenities in the lodging studios for arriving guests & new students, studios are duly checked before guest arrival.

Ensures that the reception desk is covered at all times.

Is fully conversant with the Academy services and facilities and its departments.

Ensures that enquires/requests are addressed according to the Academy standards.

Ensures that the reception desk, reception foyer and the auditorium anteroom are clean and tidy at all times.

Ensures that the reception desk display of brochures is regularly maintained, and business cards left by visitors are passed on to the relevant member of staff or the Marketing Office.

Answers and transfers telephone calls in accordance with the Jumeirah Standards.

Time management is essential, as this diverse role covers multiple duties, including covering the reception if and when required.

Is fully aware of the fire alarm system and evacuation procedures.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications.

Minimum 02 Years of Experience in Front Office

Advanced Knowledge in Opera / Opera Cloud

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers)

Professional attitude and appearance

Solid written and verbal communication skills

Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.

Excellent organizational skills

Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Customer service attitude
