MISSIONS:

As the Roads Design Manager within the rail industry, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design and development of road networks associated with rail infrastructure projects. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the planning, design, and execution of roads integrated with railway systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the roads design team, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to achieve project objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including engineers, architects, consultants, and government authorities, to develop comprehensive road designs aligned with rail projects.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and standards while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and sustainability in road design.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost estimations for road design components within rail infrastructure projects.
• Utilize cutting-edge design software and technology to create detailed road layouts, cross-sections, and construction drawings.
• Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and documentation related to roads design.
• Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and resolve any design-related issues or challenges that may arise during the execution phase.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the roads design team, promoting best practices and creative solutions.

PROFILE:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with at least 10 years\' experience in relevant projects.
• Registration to the Society of Engineer
• Registration to Dubai Municipality
• Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar tools.
• In-depth knowledge of road design principles, traffic engineering, geometric design standards, and construction methodologies.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects from conception to completion.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
