Job Description

A major real estate developer in Saudi Arabia is looking to hire a Design Manager for Transportation and Mobility,for its exquisite, luxury tourism destination project being developed along the northwestern Red Sea coastline of Saudi Arabia The role is responsible for carrying out various work assignments including but not limited to traffic data collection and analysis, traffic studies, sector circulation and parking studies, traffic impact assessments, and traffic signal design and optimization. Work assignments could include planning, design, operation, system integration, and supervision of transport assignments. Responsibilities:

• Lead the traffic data collection team
• Perform traffic data analysis, process the data, and produce reports
• Support the client on a variety of transportation-related tasks and activities including supporting the development of the client's personnel; Manage traffic engineering and transportation planning work orders and assignments;
• Develop and assist in developing traffic detour designs Manage and prepare traffic impact and parking studies;
• Prepare signal timing plans;
• Preparation of traffic signal configurations, their implementation including factory and site acceptance testing;
• Training and mentoring of personnel;
• Attend client meetings on project and work order assignments;
• Prepare proposals (method statements / scopes of work / budgets);
• Provide technical advice to staff, consultants and contractors including technical presentations and reports;
• Prepare and review tender and contract documents;
• Review proposals and technical submittal from various contractors and consultants;
• Support the intersection and corridor optimization programme.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Master's Degree is a plus
• Professional Licensure is desirable (PE, PTOE)
• Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in transportation and ITS projects
• Knowledge in traffic studies and analysis, surveying and basic traffic engineering practices
• Knowledge in different traffic management applications such as Vissim, Synchro, Sidra etc.
• Middle East experience is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time Salary: ?30,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:

• roads and highways construction: 8 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
