Pioneer Engineering Consultancy is pleased to announce exciting new career opportunities to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Road and Pavement Inspector to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:



Inspect road and pavement works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards. Monitor construction activities, including earthworks, subgrade, sub-base, base course, asphalt paving, and compaction. Verify materials, workmanship, and testing results against project requirements. Review method statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and ensure proper quality control on site. Prepare daily inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and follow up on corrective actions. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and laboratories for site inspections and testing. Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance during road and pavement works.

Requirements:



Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in road and pavement inspection within infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of asphalt paving, compaction methods, and road construction materials. Familiarity with relevant standards (AASHTO, ASTM, BS, or local municipality specifications). Experience in reviewing and verifying material testing (FDT, core tests, Marshall, etc.). Good reporting, communication, and coordination skills with project stakeholders.
