YOUR ROLE
The primary function of the role is responsible for determining effort to co-ordinate the Overland Business and ensuring the smooth handling of all job files as to process and documentation of both system and physical handling.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Dispatching all modes of transportation
Receive job orders and effect contract review
Take care of releasing/dispatching shipments in accordance with customer requirements and ensure highest standards of customer care are achieved at all time
Maintain delivery schedules and track deliveries to ensure deadlines are met
Follow up on transportation contractors and drivers
Follow up on booking confirmation with customers
Provide tracking information to internal and external customers
Handle customer complaints and investigate delivery issues
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
Degree in logistics, supply chain or a similar discipline
Minimum 2 years of experience in dispatching function
Experience in a similar role in a logistics/freight forwarding company
Ability to support both customers and carriers daily to ensure satisfaction and operational excellence
Strong communication skills with excellent command in English and Arabic language
Excellent customer service skill and good commercial acumen
