Our client is a well-established interior fit out contractor and as part of their growth, we are recruiting a UAE experienced purchasing & logistics executive.
The role is responsible for the timely logistics, delivery and procurement of goods and services at competitive prices.
Role Summary
Manage procurement activities from sourcing vendors, price negotiation, purchase order issuance and management.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure orders are delivered on time and accurately.
Inventory control of equipment and materials; ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
Liaise with freight forwarders for competitive pricing and claims for damage, loss or shortages.
Import and export documentation for sea, air freight and road transportation.
Support the finance department with inventory reconciliations and audits and invoicing.
Vendor sourcing, price and terms negotiation; vendor management to minimize substandard products and services and implement corrective action plans.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
7 \xe2\x80\x93 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in interior fit out or building materials procurement and logistics with strong working knowledge of Dubai shipment regulations.
Experience of reviewing material specifications and product quality; analyzing quotations and making procurement recommendations.
Vendor management \xe2\x80\x93 experience of evaluating suppliers based on quality, price and delivery.
Good Microsoft Excel skills.

Currently living in the United Arab Emirates \xe2\x80\x93 must be able to live and work in Dubai.
Fluent in English \xe2\x80\x93 must be able to read, write and speak English with the ability to communicate with 3rd parties across different countries.
Professional appearance with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
