Responsibilities: Acts as the Company representative with the client and subcontractors during the program execution. Takes the lead on the project start up, data analysis and establishment of DEM process Supervise the overall design process and review of design drawings and tender documents Preparation of design calculation reports including design criteria, design approach, site constraints, modeling approach, recommendations, etc. Manages project and ensure project is delivered within budget and on time; with quality as planned. Ensures projects risks are reported to higher management together with solutions and alternatives Leads, assigns, and reviews work of project delivery team; check work and progress and identify changes of scope and additional services. Responsible for the development and distribution of a summary description of the project to all members of the project team for reference Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project Assigns responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths. Works with the key project individual to devise and execute actions plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work Develops and oversees project budgets and schedules. Monitors progress against targets and solves complex issues. Establishes weekly meeting to review project status and formulate action items Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subconsultant Responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project. May participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in meetings in support of clients Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Transportation or Water Resources Engineering. Master's degree in a related technical field would be an advantage Minimum 10+ years of related design experience Proactive and result-oriented personality Familiar with GCC regional design standards and regulatory requirements Incumbent should have a broad general technical and business background Must have the ability to manage projects, interface with clients and enjoy being hands on technically in the project Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communication in English JCE cares about the well-being and professional development of all its employees.
