We are currently looking for a safety-focused and experienced

Rigger

Operator

to join our construction team within the

Mapa Limak Construction LLC

. In this critical role, you will be responsible for preparing and securing loads for lifting operations, ensuring safe rigging practices in compliance with international standards and site-specific HSE protocols.

As a Rigger Operator, you will support lifting operations involving cranes, hoists, and other heavy equipment, working closely with crane operators, lifting supervisors, and site engineers.

Responsibilities:

Inspect and select appropriate rigging gear (slings, shackles, hooks, spreader bars) for lifting operations. Secure and balance loads to ensure safe lifting, lowering, and positioning. Communicate clearly with crane operators using hand signals or radio communication. Verify load weights and lifting capacities in compliance with lift plans and risk assessments. Assist in preparation and execution of critical lifts and tandem lifting activities. Ensure all rigging operations are conducted following site safety procedures and lifting permits. Report and replace damaged rigging gear immediately. Collaborate with lifting supervisors and engineers to evaluate lift feasibility and method statements. Maintain daily records of rigging operations and equipment inspections. Provide mentorship and supervision to junior riggers when required.

Qualifications:

Valid Rigger Certification (e.g., Level 1 or 2, preferably internationally recognized such as from

CITB

,

NCCCO

, or equivalent). Minimum 3 years of rigging experience on infrastructure or heavy construction projects. Strong understanding of lifting gear, load charts, and crane capacities. Familiarity with critical lift plans and risk assessment procedures. Physically fit and able to work at heights or in confined spaces when required. Commitment to safety, awareness of site-specific HSE protocols. Effective communication skills, especially in multicultural environments. Previous experience in the Gulf region is a plus.
