RFQ Specialist

In this RFQ Specialist Position

Work is closely supervised Apply broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education Problems faced are not typically difficult or complex Support the execution of plans and processes to implement the OFR pricing strategy Support in responding to pricing enquiries in an efficient and competitive manner Administer tasks and activities while ensuring effective resource management and optimizing productivity for the day-to-day operations Support the timely monitoring and accurate updating of local tariffs Draft and submit relevant documents for tenders Maintain databases with specific information to enable quick responses to specific network queries Answer queries, prepare information for customers to maintain close business relationship with existing clients and enhance customer retention Consolidate, record information and handle day-to-day shipment documentation Understand recent developments of new solutions, services, lane and traffic development May provide functional guidance, advice or training to less experienced positions Resolve recurring issues, and suggest modifications to OFR pricing methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency

Satkeholders:

Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own sub-function Develop a network of contacts to build up relationships and strengthen the organizational, product and market knowledge Explain facts, policies and practices related to job area

Management Responsibility:

Individual contributor without direct responsibility for leading others

Education:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification Experience: less than 2 years
