MEP Modelers

who can translate complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems into detailed, build-ready BIM environments.

Role Overview

The

Revit MEP BIM Modeler

will create and coordinate advanced 3D MEP models at

LOD 350 - 450

, producing fabrication-ready shop drawings and supporting clash detection, digital twin handovers, and AI-based automation workflows.
This role bridges design and construction--ensuring every duct, cable tray, and chilled-water pipe lives perfectly in the digital and real worlds.

Key Responsibilities

Develop coordinated

Revit MEP models

for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire-fighting systems. Produce

shop drawings

with accurate annotations, legends, and schedules following project standards. Extract

quantities and BOQs

directly from the model; prepare BBS-style tabulations for conduits and pipe runs. Ensure compliance with

ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and BS/BS EN standards

. Coordinate with structural and architectural trades using

Navisworks

and clash-resolution tools. Integrate

AI + automation

(Dynamo / Python scripts / Revit add-ins) for repetitive MEP tasks. Maintain BIM documentation, naming conventions, and GCS AI+ standards across all submissions. Support project engineers during QA/QC reviews and client presentations.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Bachelor's in

Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering

. 3 - 6 years' experience in MEP BIM modeling and coordination. Proficient in

Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, and Excel

. Familiar with

LOD 350-450 workflows

, parameter management, and family creation. Sound understanding of

construction sequencing

and site coordination. Experience with

Dynamo, Revit API, or add-ins

(e.g. AGACAD / DiRoots) preferred. Strong documentation, visualization, and interdisciplinary coordination skills.
