Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

RIVIT Facade Designer

with proven experience in facade design and engineering in the UAE. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Autodesk Revit and have a strong understanding of facade systems, architectural detailing, and local UAE building regulations. The role involves working closely with architects, consultants, and contractors to design innovative and sustainable facade solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed facade designs using Autodesk Revit, ensuring high accuracy and adherence to project specifications. Create 3D BIM models, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and construction documents for facade systems (curtain walls, cladding, glazing, etc.). Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to ensure integrated and clash-free facade designs. Prepare and review technical submissions, method statements, and material specifications. Conduct site visits to verify design implementation and resolve design-related issues. Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, safety standards, and sustainability guidelines. Participate in value engineering and design optimization exercises. Manage and archive design documentation according to company and project standards.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in facade design in the UAE.

Software Proficiency:

Advanced skills in

Autodesk Revit

(mandatory) Proficient in AutoCAD, Rhino, and BIM tools is a plus Strong knowledge of facade systems including curtain wall, aluminum cladding, stone, and glass facades. Understanding of UAE building codes and standards (Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi Municipality, etc.). Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings. Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience working with facade contractors or consultants in the GCC. LEED or sustainability knowledge is an advantage. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
