Overview of the role

Create and constantly improve excellence in availability. Use retail expertise to achieve agreed availability goals. Synchronise supply with commercial needs for the best possible customer perceived availability at the lowest possible total cost.

Create and constantly improve excellence in range administration and forecasting to achieve agreed service levels. Synchronise supply with commercial needs for the best possible customer perceived availability at the lowest possible total cost. Together with the commercial team ensure a smooth range management process and highquality forecasts for input to supply planning. Secure the preconditions for effective ordering and replenishment in the stores and Central Unit

What you will do

RANGE ADMINISTRATION

Administer the range for each selling unit in accordance with the country range strategy and the Sales Leaders decision. Provide all partners with range list & selling source information.

Support with the establishment of new selling units by supporting the range selection and range administration. Plan for range size changes

Provide range change planning information to the Sales Leaders and selling units in order to support a smooth range change planning process.

Support range change implementation by monitoring range list for all selling units in region. Make sure that restricted articles are follow agreed on regional level separate process.

Coordinate with Sales Activity Leader implementation of Seasonal Range/ Collections in stores

Secure availability through monitoring replenishment parameter for new products (NEWS), running and discontinued articles on regional level and secure right replenishment for Central Unit.

Analyse received out-going split from Supply Team .Distribute remaining stock of discontinued articles to the selling units and balance discontinued stock on country level. Review status of rest to order utg articles to take action in case qty's/ volume is high.

Analyse stock situation for upcoming utg and together with Sales re-balance stock to maximize sales before EDS

SUPPLY

Support the country and store commercial team with planning and execution regional and country activities by providing availability information, in-delivery planning and follow up on goals to ensure activity commitments are fulfilled.

Be active partner of CAT team and provide them with relevant data to secure successful commercial activities within region

Support the Sales Leaders with forecast alignment by highlighting discrepancies between central and country/selling unit forecasts. Align forecast with sales on CU level

Integrate sales planning with supply capacities

Analyze the biggest deviation between DP forecast & Actual sales, secure alignment with Supply & Sales partners

Analyze Operational forecast with Actual sales, finding address to stores for taking actions.

Agree on the strategic articles with the sales leaders and secure availability

Secure availability for B2B sales, minimizing shortage impact for regular customers. Monitor process together with Supply Chain partners.

Analyze upcoming shortages and together with supply & CT partners minimize impact on availability, in case long term availability issue agree actions with CT on regional and central unit level.

Provide Availability information report to integrate sales plan with supply capacities

Secure availability & healthy stock structure by balancing stock on country level (UAE)

Analyze sales share between stores on country and Central Unit Level

Secure weekly/daily indexes are aligned with store budget & supporting smooth process of ordering goods ( value/volume )

Track key Navision parameters to secure proper ordering process

Analyze stock to secure proper balance on combinations items (example sofa frame vs sofa covers) on country level

To contribute to a great meeting with the customer in all sales channels by ensuring a consistently high availability of our offer, with high quality and at lowest possible total cost

Improve processes and communication with our Supply chain partners, contribute to stabile availability at the lowest possible costs

Develop & Follow up of performance process in Supply Chain

Global DSP SU meeting related to developments in DSP FF . Secure competences & system developing

Follow up of actions and system developments

Contribute in Navision Super User meeting for the supply processes with IKEA global support (ROSS team)

Strengthen collaboration between units

Monitor performance, Secure business update

Develop Navision and secure competence within the organization related to ordering part

Follow up agreed actions, share information, strengthen collaboration in team

CENTRAL FULFILLMENT AVAILABILITY

Update Navision based on outcome of new range list

Secure proper ordering process for News in Central Unit

Analyze RTO for outgoing articles and create ordering schedule for ordering

Maintain parameters for upcoming utg according working process in Central Unit

Monitor critical forecast error report on the biggest forecast deviations articles & take actions with store CT partners.

Review daily orders creation before orders are sent to Distribution Centers or suppliers

Review orders in the pipeline to secure deliveries to stores on time

Check performance of ecommerce sales from Central Unit to secure correct parameters adjustment .

Monitor daily orders to avoid over ordering

Analyze daily order volume and make sure that the volume generated fits the actual capacity.

Review Non Central shortages to secure availability in selling units

Identify long term Central shortages to secure back up supply or/and advise sale steering process with sales partners.

Track shortages on store level and identify quick actions to improve availability

Fulfill extra needs from DC on direct delivery articles ( CU + stores )

Analyze reason of upcoming shortages to minimize impact on availability.

Monitor order cancellation to secure that necessary actions are taken to minimize impact on availability

Identify Nonforecasted customer orders (NFCO) to make sure that rational ordering is secured

Monitor order cancellation by Supply Chain to secure that necessary actions are taken to minimize impact on availability

Follow up stock in IKEA Distribution Centers(DC) to maximize availability goods in selling units

Analyze the combination articles and make sure that stock is balanced.

Analyze overstock articles to identify root cause and secure action plan

Analyze concrete stock to identify roots cause and secure action plan

Identify articles without sales in last 6 months, analyze reasons and implement actions

Identify differences in existing orders lines between Retail and Supply Chain systems

Secure Safety Stock level are inside acceptable level to secure proper ordering & stock structure.

Secure regular meeting between CU, SO and stores

Required skills to be successful

Ability to build trust and communicate in a clear and targeted way with different people in various situations

Ability to manage a high-volume and vibrant retail environment

Ability to make things happen with flexibility, speed and simplicity

Excellent skills in retail and/or logistics processes, tools and working methods.

Analytical skills with the ability to identify required business actions

Good understanding and actively use all IKEA manuals, particularly In-store Logistics and Retail Supply Integration the IKEA way manuals.

Good skills in supporting an efficient and cost-effective commercial performance.

Good numerical skills.

Good understanding of the business plan process in the country.
