Improve the operational standards for the stores in terms of visual merchandising, product availability, store cleanliness, customer service, stock maintenance, safety and security while maintaining brand integrity in our stores.
Collaborates with store managers to develop sales goals for each location, monitors progress towards those goals, and develops strategies to attract and retain customers
Developing and implementing marketing and promotional plans for improving stores sales and oversee the preparation and distribution of promotion materials and flyers.
Visit all stores regularly and ensure all stores maintain operations standard, and they follow policies, procedures, process etc.
Hiring
Generate other income through renting out pallet, gandolla, and other display criteria
Ensure the store's opening and closing time by considering the sales.
Ensure the staff have taken part-time permit / ensure all food section staff have OHC and BFH certificates and ensure stores have sufficient PIC certificate holders ; Manage and coordinate the activities with concerned authority for getting the certificates for the staff.
Monitor and maintain GP% as per the company standard.
Handle employees' disciplinary related issues and manage it in accordance with the company policy.
Oversee and ensure stores replenishment and monitor inventory levels to determine the need for stock supply at each retail outlet. Coordinate with warehouse and suppliers for on time product availability.
Manage and achieve the budgeted sales and gross margin in the respective category, by developing & monitoring monthly Sales and Margin plan.
Monitor competitors strategies to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities for pushing the products.
Hire and keep the best people for the strategic development.
Analyze operational expenses and cost of inventory to identify losses and develop strategy for increasing profits.
Manage and develop online sales platform and improve the sales.
Coordinate the initial discussions with product suppliers and approve for the next level of confirmation.
Oversee and manage the shelf rearrangement on a regular interval for avoiding dead stock.
Work towards the monthly / quarterly / yearly goals; monitoring the performance of the team and motivating them to reach the goal.
Carry out annual performance reviews on each team member in order to manage and motivate individuals as well as providing clear direction and support.
Responsible for the induction and development of the team by providing on the job training and assessing progress, through written reviews and confirm.
Dealing with escalated customer and employee issues, legal issues, incident reported etc.
Analyze the store expenses against sales and take necessary logical decisions to make the stores profitable.
Bring about strategies and innovations to develop the nonperforming stores and make it profitable.
Develop and implement budget and plans for retail operations.
Manage and coordinate the new store projects and other store renovation projects.
Monitor managers, supervisors and other floor staff timing regularly.
Check and report the stores negative margin, negative sales, stock summary, shrinkage etc.; discuss with the reporting manager and take necessary actions to control this.
Oversee and Manage staff vacation / Accommodation / Food.
Report to the concerned authority in case any stores and other (including store vehicle) maintenance related issues is found, follow up and get it resolved on time.
Minimum 3 - 5 years' relevant experience in UAE UAE Driving License is Mandatory Candidates must have minimum 3 Years Retail Domain Experience Preferred Skills MEP Knowledge.
