We are currently recruiting for a Retail Merchandiser to be based in the UAE as part of the growth of our Commercial team. Responsibilities:
Monitoring stock movements and analyzing sales figures, trends, regional variations, customer requirements and purchasing behavior to accurately forecast future sales and thus stock requirements & achieving an agreed sell-thru for the season
Monitoring stock ageing, sell through & zero movement items and preparing reports based on sales
Review stores and create reports on ERP such as daily stock reports, stock mix, MTD/YTD growth and managing stock take/ perpetual inventory reports
Monitoring and setting min-max for newness and stock aging liquidation plan to execute when needed
Analysing every aspect of the best and worst sellers and the previous season\'s sales and reporting on the current season\'s products
Optimize the volume and profitability of product categories
Gather information relating to customer reaction towards the products
Preparation of merchandise plans and other Information required for product range presentations and reviews for the Brand team
Report competition\xe2\x80\x99s offerings and analysing opportunities to the Brand team
Requirements
Over 3 years experience in a similar role at a large retail organization
Must be an Excel expert. Experience working with ERPs is preferred but not a must
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Proven experience communicating with cross-border teams
Ability to meet critical deadlines
