The Retail Education Executive will play a key role in growing brand awareness and loyalty through our people and retailer partnerships.

In this role, you will actively lead, develop, and educate store-based teams whilst also facilitating education/training sessions for employees within our key retail partnerships.

Consumer Education
  • Deliver high-quality classroom style training sessions virtually and in-person to our store-based teams, based on the marketing calendar and brand priorities.
  • Support the Beauty Advisors via regular in-store coaching, with a focus on key top doors. Support and follow-up on the induction of new retail employees and development of existing retail employees through the on-counter/ Digital coaching.
  • Inspires and empowers Beauty Advisors to be more productive by modeling, teaching, reinforcing and by recognition brand-defining behaviors.
  • Strategize with sales partners to develop, execute and follow-up on focus-door Education and in store activities action plans.
  • Provide coaching assistance to In-store coaches/ Distributors trainers with the planning and execution of all in-store coaching.
  • Maintain strong working relationship with DECIEM EMEA & Global Education teams on new product and claims training, brainstorming sessions with them to increase education on Skincare in the region and provide insights on consumer trends and behaviors gathered from shop floors.
  • Liaise with Retail Partners to arrange and conduct Generic Staff training in-store/Classroom \xe2\x80\x93 Sephora (Regional) \xe2\x80\x93 a mix of newness training and refresher training on heroes.
  • Organize coaching action plans to address selling skills/product knowledge gaps/behaviors for existing Counter Managers/Beauty Advisors.
  • Analyze retail employee\xe2\x80\x99s sales reports and KPIs monthly. Based on the numbers, be able to identify the areas for improvement to grow sales and develop.
  • Focus on sales and being able to motivate retail employees and teach them how to achieve their goals (productivity) is a must. (Set monthly incentives & Recognition program).
Retail Operations
  • Train Beauty Advisors and Counter Managers to achieve their business goals: sales targets, productivity and other KPIs. Help Beauty Advisors and commercial team gather data, analyze it and prepare training strategy for individual Beauty Advisors based on their result.
  • Clearly identify and explain the Key Performance Indicators (KPI\xe2\x80\x99s) \xe2\x80\x93 Hourly Productivity, AUS, vs. LY, New Customers vs. LY and Booked Appointments.
  • Monitor KPIs for all Beauty Advisors and analyze their productivity and plan achievements. Present data to S&MM and BM.
  • Accountability for in-store brand expression through visual merchandising across all staffed and select unstaffed doors, supporting partnerships in driving performance, execution, and merchandise needs.
  • Support S&MM on trade activations \xe2\x80\x93 podium designs approval from mall operators, Cascading VM guideline of the podium, hire and train freelance promoters (FLP), set clear sales and unit sold targets for FLP, daily tracking of performance, motivate and keep morale high, work on incentive plan for FLP
  • Be the market and regional expert. Maintain in-depth knowledge of market trends, demographics, consumer needs, behaviors and reactions, competitors\xe2\x80\x99 products, service offerings, and activity.
Eventing
  • Support on special events like retailer brand/newness induction office events, ELC employee events, brand PR events (influencers & media).
  • Partner with the Brand team to identify and implement innovative events, animation, and activities to drive traffic and support customer engagement, education, awareness, and loyalty.
  • Coach Beauty Advisors through active selling both during Special events and on-counter.
  • As an expert, take part in Special Events and new products launch promotions in order to help the teams gain higher sales by providing Consultations.
Administration
  • Set and monitor short and long-term strategic goals for Education Field team and assist them with planning their schedules. (Monthly & Quarterly)
  • Plan and organize classroom seminars and workshops.
  • Arrange catering for each training program and ensure that the appropriate gifts are in place for training attendees.
  • Manage tools needed for Beauty Advisors (such as training materials, uniforms, on-counter selling tools, product launch accessories, etc.) in accordance with budgetary guidelines.
  • Ensure the sharing of \xe2\x80\x9csuccess stories\xe2\x80\x9d across the Beauty Advisor sales force. Success breeds success.
To be agile and flexible on timing for special events like working during the weekend, or extra hours to be replaced after.

Qualifications

In-depth knowledge about Skincare, products, and its ingredients
  • Possess point of sale expertise to establish brand authority.
  • Prior experience in similar role within beauty or related service industry
  • Strong developmental and indirect management experience which have been demonstrated by positive past sales performance.
  • Solid coaching and communication skills
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills; must maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills including planning and prioritization.
  • Proactive in their approach
  • Good Excel and power point skills
  • Good in Translation (EN \xe2\x80\x93 AR/ AR- EN)
