Al-Futtaim Group is seeking a highly organized and commercially driven Retail Buyer to join our fashion division in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will support product strategy, buying execution, and in-season performance to maximize sales, margins, and brand elevation.

Job Overview
The Retail Buyer will coordinate product selection, manage vendor relationships, and drive commercial strategies for fashion assortments. You will work cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, visual, and operations teams to ensure cohesive execution and financial success.
Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage seasonal assortments aligned with market trends and financial goals
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and lead seasonal buy meetings
• Analyze sales trends, prepare forecasts, and align buying plans with performance metrics
• Create exclusive collections for specific countries or sales channels
• Collaborate with internal teams including merchandising, VM, finance, and logistics
• Review stock performance, pricing, and markdown strategies regularly
• Conduct competitive analysis and in-store visits for customer insight and product feedback
• Support new channel development and elevate brand positioning
• Lead weekly communication with stores to gather feedback and implement adjustments
• Provide training and coaching to junior buyers and support staff

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Fashion, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of buying and merchandising experience in the fashion industry
• Strong understanding of financial KPIs, stock planning, and product life cycle
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Ability to multitask, solve problems, and meet tight deadlines
• Experience managing exclusive collections and product strategy is a plus
