Key Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Reconcile retail sales, POS transactions, and inventory data across multiple locations.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and assist with timely VAT filings.
Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and suppliers as required.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and petty cash transactions.
Work closely with sales and procurement teams to validate and align cost and revenue data.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail, trading, or FMCG industries in the UAE.
Sound knowledge of UAE VAT laws and general accounting practices.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in an SME setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a retail or consumer goods environment.
Strong understanding of retail accounting practices, including inventory and cost accounting.
