Job Title: Restaurant Purchaser/Receiver Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Package: 6,000 : 8,000 AED per month, plus package I am currently supporting a brand new restaurant concept, who will be opening in the heart of Dubai, in Q1 2024 and they are now actively seeking a Purchaser/Receiver to join their rapidly expanding team. We are needing candidates who are already based inside of the UAE/Dubai, and its mandatory that you come from an F and B/Hospitality background : preferrably, youll have a successful track record working within either Pan:Asian or Mediterranean concepts within the region. As a Restaurant Purchaser/Receiver, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of ingredients, supplies, and equipment while ensuring that all deliveries meet our quality standards. You will work closely with our kitchen and management teams to maintain a seamless supply chain, optimize costs, and uphold our commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities: * Source and purchase high:quality ingredients, supplies, and equipment for the restaurant. * Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing agreements. * Maintain accurate and up:to:date records of all purchases and inventory levels. * Receive, inspect, and verify the quality and quantity of deliveries. * Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of ingredients. * Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and control costs. * Monitor and replenish stock levels to meet operational needs while minimizing excess inventory. * Work closely with the management team to develop and adhere to budgetary guidelines. * Collaborate with the kitchen team to identify ingredient substitutions when necessary. * Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Qualifications: * Proven experience in purchasing and receiving roles within the restaurant or hospitality industry. * Strong negotiation and communication skills. * Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. * Familiarity with inventory management and procurement software is a plus. * Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control procedures. * Ability to work in a fast:paced, high:pressure environment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) for record:keeping. * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
