Job Summary:

As part of Operation in Restaurant, you will oversee all aspects of daily operations, team leadership, food quality, and customer service standards. You'll be accountable for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving performance metrics such as sales growth, labor efficiency, and cost control. This role requires hands-on leadership with a focus on operational excellence and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all in-store operations, including opening/closing procedures, food safety, and service standards. Champion the Oporto customer experience by ensuring fast, friendly, and accurate service at all times. Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a high-performing team aligned with Oporto's values and brand culture. Drive operational KPIs including sales targets, labor efficiency, food cost control, and waste reduction. Manage stock ordering, inventory control, and supplier relationships to ensure availability of fresh and quality ingredients. Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS (Workplace Health & Safety) regulations. Implement and uphold Oporto's brand standards, promotional activities, and in-store marketing. Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally to enhance service recovery and brand loyalty. Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports. Foster a clean, energetic, and team-focused environment that reflects the Oporto experience.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in QSR or fast casual restaurant management (ideally 2+ years). Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team. Demonstrated ability to meet performance targets and manage operational metrics. Sound knowledge of food safety regulations and QSR operational procedures. Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and public holidays. Food Safety Supervisor certification (preferred).
