ROLE SUMMARY
The role of the Restaurant Manager is to oversee the daily restaurant management operations and deliver an optimal food and beverage customer experience. The role will include maintaining the restaurant\xe2\x80\x99s revenue, profitability, and quality goals along with maintaining high productivity and operational efficiency.
ROLE PROFILE
- Establishes an optimal customer experience by maintaining a seamless restaurant operation.
- Ensures that the site is operating in line with standard procedures while ensuring adherence to MAF policies and guidelines.
- Ensures Food and Beverage initiatives are executed accordingly to drive financial performance while keeping costs in line.
- Continuously monitors performance assigned operations and ensures adherence to operations budgets for the site and reports any variances.
- Ensures that the facility consistently meets local legislative cleanliness and safety standards; this includes regular monitoring of the restaurant.
- Manages the inventory counts (weekly, monthly & year-end) are accurately completed on time, and actioned when variances exceed budgeted amounts.
- Monitors, evaluates, and recognizes employee excellence leveraging internal recognition programs.
- Monitors the financial functions of the site/s to ensure the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of cash management, financial data, and reporting.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 4-7 years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment, including at 2-years as an Associate Manager
- Certificate /Course/Diploma in Hospitality with relevant experience. (Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Hospitality preferred)
- Ability to perform under pressure.
- Strong understanding of overall functionality of restaurant operations.
- Experience with food and beverage standards and practices.
