Job Description

Your Role
  • Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
  • Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
  • Organize and supervise shifts
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
  • Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Manage the restaurant\xe2\x80\x99s good image and suggest ways to improve it
  • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
  • Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses
  • Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
  • Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
  • Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
The restaurant manager should take into consideration the important responsibilities and the following responsibilities should be focused on:
  • Staff Development/Strategy Plan to provide structure and guidance around goals and opportunities within the organization.
  • Human Resource Processes such as hiring staff, the restaurant managers also have to take up the responsibility of HR and conduct the whole hiring process which includes sourcing candidates, taking interviews, onboarding, training, and even termination.
  • Operation/restaurant process to improve the various areas of the business: staff management, financials, compliance.
  • Build a value-driven relationship with the staff
  • Create an Operations Manual for everyone to follow
  • Minimize food waste and leverage
  • Adhere to health and safety standards
  • Provide your staff with all the necessary tools
  • Improve the way to manage vendors
Collaboration with the chef and other staff to ensure the setup kitchen with proper utensils and equipment, study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients, and ensure an appealing presentation/brand Your Skills
  • Proven leadership skills as a restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role
  • Proven customer service experience as a manager
  • Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait for staff
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
  • Acute financial management skills
  • Strong local market knowledge, understanding of cost-to-completion projections, and makes decisions accordingly
  • Resilient, flexible, adaptable, self-motivated
  • Should possess Statistical and Organization Analysis Skills
  • Ability to use interpersonal skills to influence and persuade individuals when necessary
  • The ability to work under pressure and within changing priorities was working accurately and to deadlines is a prerequisite
