Tylers' Grub & Grog is an Aussie Sports Bar set to open in Dubai Maritime City - Port Rashid, in August 2022. This family run business will be one of a kind in the area - being the only fully licensed stand-alone venue with a menu and vibe second to none. Brought to you by the owners of the multi award winning "Stomping Grounds Cafe in Jumeriah 1" it is sure to have the recipe for success!, With a seating capacity of over 200 pax, we will be open for lunch and dinner; from mid-day to the wee hours of the morning. Then read on; you could be the one for the job! ?The role requires the candidate to manage Restaurant & Bar and ensure smooth running of the establishment, while striving to increase profitability of the outlet; preferably based in the UAE with previous experience in a licensed outlets in the region. You should already be working as a Restaurant Manager and should be a confident leader. The ideal candidate should be able to lead and inspire the team in accordance with company standards and should: Be a hands-on Manager and be involved in every aspect of the Operations - from Runner/Waiter if required to back-office Management Duties. Manage the entire team and activities at Tyler's Grub & Grog. Ensure that all staff are provided with the relevant training in accordance with restaurant standards and the local laws. Stock and inventory management of the Bar. Maintain optimal level of food safety and hygiene procedures of the establishment. Be well versed in Food Watch and manage the company account on a daily basis. Financial statements, sales reports and other performance data to measure productivity and goals. Manage staff, prepare weekly rosters and assign specific duties. Organize and supervise shifts Determine staffing requirements interview, hire and train new employees in collaboration with the Owner. Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example by providing a work environment that engenders positive energy, creativity and teamwork among employees. Ensure compliance of company standards to increase all sales. Ensure compliance of all security procedures and design strategies to protect all employees and customers to minimize injuries/accidents to staff. Respond efficiently to customer complaints and ensure that customers do not create a disturbance of any kind due to over consumption of alcohol. Handle customers professionally if they have consumed too much alcohol by ensuring that they leave the premises peacefully with no fuss or altercations. Publicise the restaurant by inviting food editors to review the restaurant; contact local, regional, and national magazines; bloggers and influencers with feature ideas; encourage local businesses to hold social events at the restaurant. Experience:
  • Restaurant Manager: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
  • Driving Licence (Preferred)
