As the Restaurant General Manager of a 4-star hotel, you will lead the culinary team and oversee the operations of our restaurant to ensure exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant, including staffing, budgeting, menu development, and guest satisfaction. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the restaurant, setting clear objectives and goals to achieve excellence in service, quality, and profitability.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor restaurant staff, including servers, chefs, and support staff, to ensure a high level of professionalism, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency, productivity, and customer service in all aspects of restaurant operations.
  • Monitor and manage the restaurant budget, including revenue, expenses, and labor costs, to achieve financial targets and maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with the executive chef and culinary team to develop innovative and enticing menus that reflect seasonal ingredients, culinary trends, and guest preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and licensing requirements, maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for guests and staff.
  • Foster a culture of hospitality and guest service excellence, leading by example and empowering staff to exceed guest expectations in every interaction.
  • Monitor guest feedback and reviews, addressing concerns and implementing corrective actions as needed to enhance the dining experience and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Cultivate relationships with guests, regular patrons, and local community members to build loyalty and drive repeat business.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments, and adapt restaurant strategies and offerings accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred; additional certifications or training in restaurant management is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a restaurant general manager or similar leadership role in a high-volume, upscale dining establishment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Financial acumen and budget management skills, with the ability to analyze financial data, develop budgets, and drive revenue and profit growth.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, culinary trends, and industry best practices, with a passion for food, wine, and hospitality.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the needs of the business.
  • Professional appearance and hospitable attitude that reflects the standards of a luxury hotel.
