Description
We are looking to hire a successful candidate who has a degree in finance, accounting, or related field. New graduates with experience can apply for the entry-level role. The candidate needs to prepare and analyze a variety of financial statements for accuracy and compliance. They need to review and audit the restaurant transactional activity and provide communication and general support. The job responsibilities include creating, maintain and providing various reports and summaries including operational drive and trend to the operation manager, assist developing compliances of accounting procedures, system, and practices, communicate with restaurant regarding the discrepancies found in weekly reporting and ensuring resolution of outstanding issues, works with RA manager to ensure reporting variances, prepare various reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends, proposes and implementing process improvement for areas of responsibility and complete monthly closing process. Restaurant Accountant Duties and Responsibilities: Providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting dataPreparing asset, liability and capital account entries by analyzing account informationDocumentation of financial transaction by updating account dataRecommending financial actions and summarizing the current financial statusCollecting data, preparing balance sheet, and profit and loss statementHandling financial transactions by auditing documentsMaintaining accounting control by preparing policies and proceduresDirecting accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering to queriesCoordinating financial issues by collecting and analyzing accounting dataSecuring financial data by completing database backupMaintaining financial security by following internal controlsPreparing payment by verifying documentation and requesting disbursement Restaurant Accountant Skills and Qualification: Bachelor degree in tax, accounting, and financeMust possess a minimum of 2 years of experienceExtensive knowledge about the data entry managementPunctual, reliable and must have strong communication skillKnowledge about MS office, excel, and Adobe AcrobatAble to work in a team and produce quality output under tight deadlinesStrong verbal and oral communication skillsSelf-motivated and strong analytical skillsAttention to detail, prioritization skill and time managementQuick learner with a positive attitudeAble to sit for an extended periodAble to lift the weight and look at the computer screen for a longer timeExperience in retail or restaurant accounting Job Type: Full-time Salary: From AED5,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
