Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review complex wet services designs including plumbing, drainage, wastewater, and fire protection systems.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE building codes, authority standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate closely with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams for seamless system integration.
• Conduct frequent site inspections to monitor installation quality, progress, and adherence to standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to wet services during construction.
• Prepare and review detailed technical reports, specifications, design documents, and BIM outputs.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, materials, and resource allocation related to wet services scope.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians.
• Implement sustainable and innovative design solutions aligned with project and environmental goals.
• Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations across all assigned project sites.
• Stay updated on evolving technologies, system innovations, and UAE regulatory changes.
• Support multi-site coordination and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in wet services engineering covering plumbing, drainage, and fire protection.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
• Strong experience in construction supervision and project management.
• Deep understanding of UAE building codes, authority approvals, and wet services regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with BIM tools and workflows.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Knowledge of sustainable wet services design practices.
• Health and safety certification such as OSHA is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple site assignments across Abu Dhabi.
• Adaptability and innovative thinking to support complex project conditions.
