Description

Role Summary:

The reservation Specialist is the first point of contact with the customers. S/he will provide booking and reservation services this includes answering customers' questions, assisting in rental services and rental payments and monitoring all the reservation daily. S/he will be working with customers over the phone, in person, or via email and strive to provide excellent customer service.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Confirm all customer bookings as per the standard email template within 24 hours of booking notification.
Reply to all customer phone and email queries within 24 hours.
Develop automated replies template for email correspondence.
Assist and advise customers in choosing from a variety of rental options.
Monitor all reservations daily, ensure bookings are accurate and there are no duplicate bookings in the system.
Sort out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
Understand the Pricing and Revenue strategy to ensure that bookings accepted are within the company guidelines.
Prepare all the supporting documentation for the Guest Relations Manager and manage all phone and email queries relating to any accommodation.
Liaise with housekeeping regarding check-in and check-out dates and times, ensuring they are aware of the cleaning needs and accommodation requirements prior to guest arrival.
Confirm guest arrival details to Guest Relations Manager, including flight details, arrival and departure times and destination details.
Receive online booking payments by issuing invoices in conjunction with payment gateway link.
Input guest reservation details in the DTCM system online.
Notify the Finance Manager of the report received monthly from DTCM regarding Tourism Dirham Fee amount due for previous month.

Education and Experience:

Degree in Travel and Tourism Management or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the Short Term Rentals industry.
Experience in the UAE market is a Must.
Proficient in DTCM system.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personality Attributes:

Thorough experience in the Holiday Homes Rental industry.
Strong PR, Sales and Customer-service experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Data entry experience.
Comfortable working long hours.

Other Requirements:

Currently residing in the UAE.
