Handle and supervise all aspects of the reservation process, including individual and group bookings.
Ensure accuracy and efficiency:
Ensure all booking information is accurate and processed in a timely manner, and that reservation systems are up-to-date.
Manage staff:
Recruit, train, and supervise reservations staff, delegate tasks, and create schedules to ensure a high level of service and efficiency.
Handle guest relations:
Address guest inquiries, manage cancellations and changes, and resolve complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with other departments:
Work closely with sales, marketing, and revenue management teams to align on pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and revenue goals.
Analyze and report:
Monitor reservation trends and performance metrics, prepare reports for management, and assist with forecasting occupancy and revenue.
Manage rates and promotions:
Liaise with the revenue manager to ensure room rates are accurate and up-to-date, and assist in developing and executing promotions to maximize revenue.
