• Contact our purchasing team to prepare the ingredients sample.

• Testing and examining samples.

• Review specifications of all raw materials and update them as necessary.

• Select raw materials and ingredients that result in enhancing quality and cost reduction.

• Update the existing product specifications & perform processes and shelf-life tests.

• Develop a work plan & process for new products as per the agreed calendar.

• Estimate the costs, resources, and time required to conduct one or more research projects and monitor the performance of these projects to ensure targets are met.

• Prepare complex calculations specifications, and other technical documentation so that prototype designs can be manufactured and assembled.

• Find alternatives to raw materials to reduce cost and improve quality.

• Staying up-to-date with industry technological developments.

• Conducting research on new product development possibilities and consumer tastes.

• Providing recommendations to other departments on launching new products.

• Ensuring the work of the R&D department does not exceed budgets.

• Working with operations staff to ensure new products are compatible with current manufacturing processes.

• Develop and maintain technical expertise on advances and innovations in research and science.

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Science or higher; ideally chemistry background or related.

• 10 + years of Experience is required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Management role required.

• Successful and progressive research and product development experience in the cosmetics, personal care, and detergent, industry.

• Ability to work independently and exercise creativity.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
