Rent Collector
to join our team.
Position Overview
The Rent Collector will be responsible for collecting monthly rent payments, maintaining accurate records, communicating with tenants regarding payment issues, and supporting the property management team to ensure timely collections.
Key Responsibilities
Collect rent payments in person, online, or by phone
Maintain accurate and up-to-date payment records
Contact tenants regarding late, missing, or partial payments
Issue receipts and document all transactions
Coordinate with property managers on delinquent accounts
Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
Follow company policies and comply with local regulations
Prepare collection reports as needed
Qualifications
Previous experience in collections, property management, accounting, or a related field preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Organized with excellent record-keeping abilities
Ability to handle sensitive financial information professionally
Reliable transportation (if field visits are required)
Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, payment software)
