Summary

The selected candidate will be expected to have an excellent level of knowledge and experience of the IT security environment within the banking industry.

The person will be working in a competitive target driven environment and will be required to source his/her own clients with the support of the HID Global brand and company infrastructure.

The position is within the Authentication BU of HID Global.

Candidate will be responsible for developing and closing business within Financial Services and Consumer Authentication space in Middle East. And has to have a proven track record in sales and sales management.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
(Other duties may be assigned)
  • Generate business opportunities and managing the sales process through to closing.
  • Build a sales pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and forecast pipeline accuracy.
  • Define regional sales strategy being able to generate new business
  • Strategically plan new business/product opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers to prepare account strategies and plans
  • Handle and develop new businesses independently
  • Ensure leads and opportunities are tracked within Sales Force.com (SFDC)
  • Implement Gap Plans and Strategic Initiatives in SFDC
  • Introduce new business to achieve or exceed yearly targets.
  • Identify business opportunities, potential clients, and affiliate customers.
  • Maintain & develop relations with existing clients in your portfolio
  • Source and convert leads into sales; ensure high quality interaction with potential clients and high profile contacts.
Education and or Experience

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required..

Qualifications
  • BS/BA, or equivalent education plus relevant industry experience
  • 7+ years sales experience in closing deals in for IT vendors or IT Services companies
sales experience and/or experience in the Authentication market or HID products is a plus. * A proven track record of quota achievement and demonstrated career stability.

Experience
  • Sales experience with an actionable preferred rolodex of decision makers in Middle East and Experience in selling Banking Digital Channel IT solutions
  • Proven ability to sell to large and international organizations.
  • Experience working with direct end users as well as partners and understanding of both direct and channel centric go to market approach. Need to have direct touch experience
  • Proven ability to sell to large and international organizations.
Languages and Skills
  • Ability to fluently communicate in English and ARABIC, both verbally and in writing
  • Additional regional languages are a plus and strong advantage
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively target a wide variety of audiences including senior leadership and customers.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated and well organized.
  • Sound problem resolution, judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Passion for sales and winning new business.
Computer skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
  • Experience with CRM, such as Salesforce is a plus.
  • Ability to create presentation materials to deliver messaging on new corporate initiatives and services.

Employee works primarily in a mobile office environment.

  • Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
  • Intensive travel and fieldwork, including international travel is required. Therefore, employee must possess, a valid passport.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which you are hired.
