We are currently working with a leading Biotechnology company to recruit a Regional Sales Director / Commercial Director (MEA) to be based either in Dubai, UAE or Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As the Regional Sales Director MEA, you will be at the forefront of the companies commercial operations, responsible for driving sales excellence and market penetration across the Middle East and Africa region. This leadership position demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in pharmaceutical sales, exceptional team management skills, and the ability to navigate complex markets.

Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
Provide strategic direction to the sales team, ensuring alignment with regional and global business objectives.
Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
Conduct thorough market analysis to identify growth opportunities, market trends, and potential challenges.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored approaches for market expansion.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and inspire a high-performance sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales force.
Customer Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, distributors, and strategic partners.
Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure alignment of promotional activities with customer needs.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the regional sales budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
Monitor financial performance against targets, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Collaborate with regulatory affairs to navigate and address regional regulatory requirements.
Who You Are\xe2\x80\xa6
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in pharmaceutical sales, with a substantial portion in a leadership role.
  • In-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape in the MEA region.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and leading successful sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel within the MEA region as required.
