The role of Regional Manager Channels & Anemia Programs will report to Director Regional Sales MEA & LATAM, who report to Sr Director International Sales HemoCue.

The purpose of the role is to support driving business growth in North Africa\xe2\x80\x99s countries and some ME (Yemen, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman & Syria). In addition to that, lead the anemia programs initiation in MENA & Africa.

Core activities in the role include:

-Support existing channel partners in the targeted countries to grow the business according to target\xe2\x80\x99s plan

-Evaluates the channel partners, performance, setup, team capabilities and take correction actions

-Submits countries forecast on time, monthly & yearly

-Follow up channel partners orders and due payments

-Adds revenue to HemoCue with an initial focus on pharmaceutical companies performing screening/studies programs in MEA area

-To be instrumental in finding, establishing, developing and maintaining broad and deep external partner relations with new global pharma partners for the region, local implementers and performers of local screening programs, as well the developers of such screening programs

-Keeps relationships with these partners well managed for long term partnership

-To implement short term actions which will lead to long term revenue as well as solid footprint of HemoCue within the screening and studies segment

-Leads the anemia programs initiation in ME & Africa. Prioritize targeted countries with regional sales managers. Educate channel partners teams how to initiate screening programs, as well support the meetings with KOLs in targeted countries.

This strategically minded business-oriented manager, with revenue responsibility, must possess a good understanding of the diagnostics product market in the region, and has a proven record of balancing demands of multiple internal and external customers. Capability to monitor relevant studies, screening programs and tenders in the region. The manager will utilize problem solving and identify enablers and blockers for success and suggest effective actions and countermeasures.

Key Responsibilities

Establish coherent and state-of-the art sales strategy and tactics for the area, taking into account competitive intelligence

Develop and maintain broad and deep external partner relations with pharmaceuticals companies

Knowledge of the partner\xe2\x80\x99s propositions, their markets, business challenges and customer opportunities;

Working collaboratively across functions including marketing, and customer service to manage sales resource demands

Ensure the development of pre-launch sales plans for all new products within the planning horizon

Focus on competitor pricing and increasing market share through effective selling to targeted companies

Develops and executes attainable and strategy plans with the market needs; builds multi-level relationships with partners including those in the executive level

Produces high-quality leads through constant engagements with partners in terms of marketing strategies; and coordinates with internal resources to launch partner sales planning efforts of the company.

Forecast preparation and reporting, as well leads management

I.Requirements for this position

a) Formal Education

B. Sc. in biomedical sciences or equivalent (MBA is preferable).

Regional managers must have a passion for sales and technology. His/Her drive must come from the willingness to help the company\xe2\x80\x99s growth. He/She must have exceptional communications skills as it will be the core of his career. He/She must know how to build relationships as well know how to maintain them. He/She must be disciplined in working with people as well as be culturally sensitive in dealing with them. Knowing another language especially when it comes to handling international accounts will look impressive on a resume.

b) Competencies / Skills / Experience

Has exceptional communication skills, oral as well as written, which is the key driver for this position.

Proven experience in developing innovative sales strategies and experience of managing turnkey projects/partners.

Results driven, proactive and a systematic, problem-solving oriented way of thinking.

4 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with managing partners in MEA market.

4 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with sales at Key Account Management (KAM) level of medical devices or diagnostic products.

Can identify performance barriers and timely deliver under challenging circumstances.

Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, flexible, inter-cultural, global mindset. Experience with being responsible for driving change processes.

Demonstrated strong strategic and analytical skills as well as solid business acumen, experience in growth achievements.

High degree of customer focus, strong clinical & technical understanding.

A highly motivated, high-energy individual with drive, and the ability to respectfully and efficient balance between own and others interest and view of opinions.

Stress resilient, able to work in a high-pressure environment (but within a respectful, open, and collaborative culture).

Experience with people management is an advantage.

c) Language & Information Technology

Fluent in verbal and written English & French

An experienced IT user, preferably with solid knowledge of MS Office and MS Outlook.

e) Travel (required estimated % of time)

Able to travel on average 50% of the working time. Flexible schedule.
