The Role Introduction Are you ready for a new exciting mission within Atlas Copco Services Middle East customer center, where we are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Regional Logistics Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Middle East region, reporting to the Compressor Technique Regional General Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Atlas Copco Services Middle East who shall be part of the customer center management team.
The Logistics Manager shall be responsible to coordinate all the different aspects in the supply chain to drive customer satisfaction and actively contribute to sustainable profitable growth in the organization. Work with customers, regional distributors and other CC functions, Distribution Centers, Product Companies and Division to achieve agreed local KPI. Lead a team to develop processes and realize SAP efficiencies to secure a global world class logistics in Atlas Copco. Regional customer center includes UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Yemen and Iraq where through the different FAM codes, logistic team processes local and indent orders where each process need to be optimized to deliver a service to external and internal customers. The Logistics Manager is in principle responsible for the following areas to support business development in our customer center:
Develop the present organization to achieve sustainable and profitable results
Take the lead in Boest SAP adoption within the team
Customer Service (external customers / distributors & internal)
Inventory management with respect to third party warehouse; timely returns to PC
Order management function
Physical warehouse process
Inbound transport and import administration process
Outbound transport & shipping process
Logistics operations of regional branches and service contracts
People Management
Bring transparency in end to end process (Order to Customer)
To ensure optimum and transparent cost allocation structure consistently
Sustainability Responsibility (Environmental), Logistics is responsible to maintain a healthy
environment by reducing CO\xc2\xb2 emissions and packaging waste.
Approval flow (Prokura); All approval flow in logistics operations are straightly complied to Prokura
setup. Prokura highlights the limits of ones authority to act towards third parties as well as the authority to act internally within the Group of company
Develop the present organization to achieve sustainable and profitable results.
Develop and maintain tools for measuring/monitoring/reporting performance through logistic dashboards & be proactive and work closely with fellow BLMs
Ensure consistent productive communication and interaction between the Equipments/ Sales organization, and the Service organization (CTS) and logistic team & present regularly in monthly management meetings the challenges & support required
Develop knowledge of alternative local logistic company suppliers and understanding of their products.
Ensure that "The Way We Do Things" & \xe2\x80\x9cBusiness Code of Practice\xe2\x80\x9d are applied and followed.
Develop the team, provide clear missions, performance reviews, identify, support and follow-up talented employees who have a good potential to grow as future leaders in the Group.

Experience requirements
Solid working knowledge of SAP is a must
Proven track record of Logistic management/processes is desired, where local and international
legal requirements, Atlas Copco supply chain policies should be well demonstrated
Having managed a team is an advantage
Good knowledge of FAM and Atlas Copco Internal procedures
Educational requirements University degree
Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required. Arabic is a plus
Personality requirements
