Reporting to:
  • Associate Creative Director
Role context: An Art Director is responsible for the conception, design, and execution of visuals to be used in online advertising and digital marketing.

Core responsibilities:

  • Work on 360 campaigns from concepts to execution within deadlines (offline and online)
  • Create, design and optimize innovative content for digital platforms and social media campaigns - keeping in mind clients’ recommendations and suggestions.
  • Strong knowledge of content formats across existing and emerging social platforms.
  • Ability to create and execute eye-catching imagery and sound knowledge of Photoshop, Art Direction, After Effects and motion-graphics plugins associated with it.
  • Actively communicate with clients to develop an artistic approach, style of work with brand guidelines and design standards.
  • Keep up to date with emerging social media and digital trends, evaluating the opportunities and helping advise on implementation.
  • Cooperate with the rest of the creative team across different types of media.
  • Present completed ideas to clients/team members.
  • Stay on top of all trends and maintain creative best practices.
  • Collaborate with the ACD & Senior Creative Designer for advanced digital content production.
  • Coordinates design with the Associate Creative Director.
  • Ability to work remotely or independently.

Required skills / experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience (mid-senior level) in design preferably in an advertising firm.
  • An excellent use of graphic design skills in the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • An excellent understanding in art direction and image composition.
  • Experience in working on social creative content using the most innovative ad formats.
  • Experience with developing creatives across Middle east markets.
