APCO Worldwide is seeking a Senior Art Director to join our team in Riyadh. As a Senior Art director you will ensure that all clients' desired message and image are conveyed to our clients through visuals. You will be responsible for the overall visual aspects of an advertising or media campaign and coordination with our creative team. You will take ownership with the day to day management of multiple client projects and ensuring that the best service is delivered. Responsibilities Determine how best to represent a concept visually Determine which photographs, art, or other design elements to use Develop the overall look or style of a publication, an advertising campaign, or a theater, television, or film set Manage graphic designers Review and approve designs, artwork, photography, and graphics developed by other staff members Talk to clients to develop an artistic approach and style Coordinate activities with other artistic and creative departments Develop detailed budgets and timelines Present designs to clients for approval Manage projects and clients Qualifications & Standards A minimum of 6 to 8 years of PR/strategic communications, Advertising experience within an agency Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a related subject Solid project management experience and a proven ability to oversee multiple projects and client initiatives, and manage teams of both junior and senior colleagues in a fast-paced environment Demonstrate exceptional presentation, writing and analytical skills Fluent in both English and Arabic both written and verbal Excellent client and interpersonal skills; ability to manage independent client relationships and communicate effectively by phone, email, and in-person Well-versed in current events and headline news at local, national, and international levels Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, media databases and social media network About APCO in the Middle East and North Africa Home to some of the fastest growing economies in the world, the Middle East and North Africa region has a pivotal role to play in driving global conversations - from environmental policies to religion and pop culture.
